Yes I did complete the exercise – and it helps to see my reason in writing. Bottom line is I am not a happy fat person. I don’t feel like me. I can’t do all the fun stuff with my girls that I should be able to do. I’m tired of being tired…
As for the videos – I find the music extremely uplifting and for reasons I can’t explain left me feeling as if my Faith had been fed. Mari Ann, I believe you are going to restore the Faith that for so long has been slowly fading in me. Right here Right now I am sure of this – God led me to you…to your program…for a reason. For that I am so Blessed.
I liked the separate videos – it feels more focused for me.
I enjoy the Mind Movie, the music and pictures are happy ones!
I found the slides were pictures I have had in my mind about how I want to feel. I want to smile again about feeling good, I want to be more active and these slides show me what I am missing by being overweight. They are an inspiration!
That is awesome Jennifer. Just keep those images in your mind… how you want to feel, the things you want to do. You CAN do this.

I did the “Why Do You Want That?” exercise. I think it clarified some things for me. Whatever we don’t face usually gets bigger. At least we can do something about our own body if we try. I love the videos. Very upbeat and inspiring. The photos are great reminders of why it’s worth it – to be healthy, active and enjoying life – great mental pictures. The music puts it in your soul. This is going to be good.
Well, I am just so delighted for this opportunity! I did the writing exercise. Writing brings so much into focus for me. I miss the body of my twenties. I hate my fat stomach. I am an atheletic, fit woman with 15 pounds of fat around my middle and I am beyond ready for it to go away. I have not felt like “me” for a long time. I’m ready to get back to “me.”
The videos were very inspirational. I like how you bring together mind, body & spirit. The statements, “I choose to forgive those who have hurt me, and I choose to forgive myself” are so powerful. I like all of the one-liners… I jotted some down and am putting them up on my bathroom mirror next to the card that says, “God, you are for me.”
Intersted to find out where apple cider vinegar fits into the mix.

The “Why Do you want that?” exercise opens you up to realize the true reason as to why & mine is to be healthy & not a diabetic. I was told today that my blood sugar is high again and I have made up my mind that I don’t want to live with that for the rest of my life. I have a 13 year old still at home and I want to be here to see him and my other 2 children & grandchildren grow.
I really enjoyed the mind videos, they are great! They are very inspiring, motiviational & spriritual, you get it all in one. Thanks for putting these together, they sure put me in a good mood & they put a pep in my step.
I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me throughout your program.

Are the two brain training videos that I’m supposed to watch everyday the same ones everyday for the first week?
Hey Patricia , there are 4 week 1 videos with various songs, various pics. You can choose from among the 4 – you don’t have to watch the exact same video each day.
I have a very tender mouth and have GERD. Will the apple cider vinegar affect my mouth or my stomach….
I even have trouble eating fruit…………………

Hi Jean! Believe it or not, MANY people (me included) report that apple cider vinegar eliminates their GERD. Here is a quote from an email I received just yesterday: “I am enjoying the variety of your healthy receipes and the apple cidar vinegar has solved my indigestion problem allowing me to sleep much better.” ~ John P.
I’d suggest that you dilute it even more than normal. Try a tsp to a 1/4 cup water and see how you tolerate it.
Make sure that you are using pure, unfiltered, organic ACV. This will be cloudy. You can read more about it here:

ALSO (Very Important)... the program is not dependent upon using Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). The ACV will help give quicker results, but the Eat Smart eating program will still produce results even if you choose not to use the ACV.

well today is day one. It was tough for me because I am addicted to chocolate, but this big butt has got to go.lol So I can deal with it.lol I am off to the store to go and get my chicken for tonight. I also got the wrong apple cider vinegar and am in search of that. Can’t wait to see the results that are going to come soon. My cousin Alicia Kimble I believe started today too

Hey Amie – welcome to our club! There are several chocolate recipes on the site that should help with your chocolate cravings, too. Can’t wait to see your awesome results.. and THANKS for getting the word out! Also, try one of the 85-86% chocolate bars, and let 1-2 squares melt slowly in your mouth (unless you’re the type that has to go “cold-turkey”, which some people find works best for them.) The brand that we like BEST is Godiva, but Ghirardelli and Lindt are also very good. Just make sure you are getting the 85-86%.

Well the diet is going a lot easier for me since I saw Kenny at wal-mart and checked his basket out. So many ideas. This is definitely going to work for me. I am excited to see the results. I have so many cute skinny clothes that I can’t wait to get back into.
I officially began a 13 month journey to be slimmer, trimmer, and healthier. You see in 13 months to the date I joined I will be the big 6-0. I want to look my best at 60!!! I want to continue to have good health! I don’t want to be healthy only a portion of my life. I want to be healthy as long as I live!
